Our mission is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe supportive environment for all students to meet the challenges of a global society.

We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.

Virtual Learning Plan Updates:
Dear Madison Elementary Families,

Welcome back! We hope that you are enjoying these last few weeks of summer. The 2020-2021 school year officially begins Tuesday, September 8, 2020 for all students. On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the Madison District Public Schools Board of Education voted to begin the school year in a fully virtual model through the end of the first card marking, November 13, 2020. The Board of Education will then reassess and make a determination based on facts and information available at that time. While we realize this decision is not what everyone had hoped for, we do believe the most important thing is to make sure our entire school community is safe and healthy and ready to return when it is safe to do so.

To ensure that all students and staff are ready for instruction on September 8, 2020.
Learning Management System Google Classroom will still be used as our learning management system. Students can login through an app or through the web browser. Google Classroom functions best in the Google Chrome web browser.
Student emails and passwords follow this convention:

EXAMPLE  madprovenzolas99@stu.madisondistrict.org

PASSWORD: (IS case sensitive, must use upper case first initial)

Uppercase First Initial of first name + lowercase first initial of last name + six digit birthday + !

EXAMPLE  Sp021477!

Single Sign-On Portal
Clever will be used as our single sign-on portal. Most applications that students will need to login will be found on the Clever portal. The Clever portal uses the same student email and password as Google Classroom.
